Hitachi Energy Poland is seeking an Lead AI Engineer to define and evolve AI capabilities across digital service solutions in a global energy and industrial context.

You will own AI R&D strategy, architect scalable solutions, and ensure models are governed, interpretable, and integrated into end-to-end workflows across service operations. Collaboration with IT and data teams is essential for success.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience designing, implementing, or governing applied AI/ML solutions in industrial IoT or service environments.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end AI pipelines from data prep to deployment and monitoring.
• Experience integrating AI into enterprise-scale digital solutions using cloud, microservices, and MLOps practices.
• Ability to translate AI techniques into interpretable, operational outcomes aligned with business needs.

Responsibilities

• Define and own AI R&D capability strategy and architecture for digital service solutions.
• Establish architectural principles aligned with cloud-native delivery and lifecycle service solutions.
• Translate service/domain needs into AI models and solution designs embedded in end-to-end workflows.
• Design and govern AI model lifecycles including deployment, monitoring, and evolution.
• Lead governance of agentic AI workflows combining reasoning and automation across operations.
