Job summary

InPost is seeking an experienced engineering leader to join the Data & AI organization, building AI-native solutions for the Group. You will shape the AI Engineering strategy and set software development standards, partnering with product, data and technology stakeholders.

You will lead a 10–15 person multidisciplinary team, drive AI-powered product development, and collaborate with vendors to advance AI-native workflows while balancing pragmatism and cutting-edge capabilities.

Qualifications

Seven+ years of post-BS/MS engineering experience
Proven track record leading Agile teams
Experience delivering ML-powered products
Ability to build backend platforms supporting multiple product lines
Strong ownership of results, quality and team development

Responsibilities

Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team of 10–15 people working with AI technologies
Own the AI Engineering strategy and contribute to product development powered by ML and AI-native tech
Collaborate with product managers to define requirements, priorities and delivery plans
Establish standards for AI-native products including CI/CD, evals, test sets and search subsystems
Select and implement best-in-class tools and architectures for AI products
Guide development of AI-native workflows involving streaming and long-running tasks
Improve system architecture, application design and engineering processes
Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and developing team members
Collaborate with vendors and technology partners on partnerships and service agreements
