Job summary

InPost UK is seeking an experienced AI Engineering Manager to define the next generation of AI-powered products and to scale multidisciplinary teams across engineering, product, and business domains.

You will drive AI strategy, establish best practices for AI-native development, and partner with stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions using Python, OpenAI, LangSmith, Gemini, and modern agent frameworks. This role offers remote collaboration within Poland and a path to impact across markets.

Qualifications

• 7+ years software engineering experience post-degree.
• 7+ years leading Agile engineering teams.
• 2+ years delivering large-scale ML/AI products.
• Experience building backend platforms supporting multiple product lines.
• Strong understanding of modern AI tech, LLM ecosystems and agent architectures.

Responsibilities

• Define AI engineering strategy supporting the company’s consumer AI agenda.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams building solutions with Python, LangSmith, OpenAI, Gemini, Databricks.
• Establish best practices for AI-native product development and CI/CD.
• Evaluate tools for MCP Servers, inter-agent communication, orchestration.
• Enable AI experiences including streaming interactions and intelligent automation.
• Foster an inclusive, high-performing engineering culture and cross-group collaboration.
