Job summary

InPost is seeking a Senior Java Lead to drive engineering leadership across a cloud-native stack and guide cross-functional teams in delivering large-scale projects. You will own architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and partner with Product Managers to shape ambitious delivery timelines.

The role requires 6+ years in software development, 2+ years in leadership, and strong English communication. A B2B contract and opportunities across Europe accompany an environment focused on innovation

Qualifications

6+ years of software development experience.
2+ years of people leadership experience.
2+ years of project or delivery management experience.
Strong Java background and system design experience.
Experience in containerised cloud-native environments (GCP/AWS).
Excellent written and spoken English (B2+).
Proven ability to lead change and build teams in evolving environments.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers, supporting performance and career development.
Drive greenfield initiatives and large-scale projects from concept to production.
Own topics started from scratch and navigate ambiguity.
Ensure timely, high-quality delivery through planning and execution.
Provide technical leadership in architecture and engineering best practices.
Partner with Product Managers to align priorities and outcomes.
Support the team through leadership and organizational change.
Continuously improve and standardize development processes.
Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies clearly to stakeholders.
