Job summary

Zadbano SA in Warsaw seeks an experienced engineering leader to guide a team of 6–9 engineers across business applications, support, and infrastructure. You will drive predictable two-week delivery cycles with strong DoR/DoD, handle incidents and root-cause analysis, and set architectural direction while mentoring engineers.

You should be hands-on, capable of reviewing code and making engineering decisions when needed, and apply AI-native practices as standard.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software engineering.
• 3+ years leading a team.
• Hands-on: you read code and drive architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 6–9 engineers (business applications, support and infrastructure).
• Ensure delivery in a two-week rhythm with DoR/DoD; manage incidents and RCA.
• Provide technical authority: design reviews, mentoring and decisions when blocked.
• Promote AI-native engineering as standard: code assistants and agents; measurable impact.
