Job summary

Backbase Kraków is seeking a Senior+ Engineer who leads a squad of 6-9 engineers while remaining an active technical contributor. You will drive system design, architecture reviews and ensure security and scalability from the start.

You will spend roughly half your time on technical decisions, with time for code reviews and debugging, and the rest on coaching, hiring and building a resilient engineering culture. Hybrid work model in Kraków.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with production code.
• Strong system design, architecture patterns and modern tooling.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, observability and quality practices.
• Experience coaching engineers and leading teams.
