Job summary

Seargin is seeking a Cloud FinOps specialist to analyze cloud usage and spending, identify cost savings, and drive budgeting and forecasting activities. You will collaborate with technology and finance teams to implement governance, create dashboards, and optimize cloud investments.

The role requires experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), SQL/Power Query, and building AI-driven cost models to inform strategic decisions. This is a dynamic, international environment with diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Interest in AI and FinOps
• Experience with cloud platforms and tools (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Experience implementing predictive analytics for cloud spend forecasting
• Knowledge of AI-driven models to analyze cloud spending patterns
• Experience creating dashboards and data visualizations for financial insights
• Experience using SQL and Power Query to improve daily tasks
• Knowledge of FinOps framework and governance processes

Responsibilities

• Analyze cloud usage and spend, identify savings opportunities, and recommend right-sizing and reservation strategies
• Partner with technology teams to optimize workloads and apply cloud cost management best practices
• Create dashboards, reports, graphs, and visualizations for Finance, Product, and Tech teams
• Budgeting & forecasting: create team, project, and product budgets and forecast monthly/quarterly spending
• Track actuals vs forecasts, explain variances, support long-range planning for cloud investments
• Allocate cloud costs to teams, cost centers, and projects with chargeback/showback
• Process invoices, prepare month-end journal entries, reconcile spending across budgets and forecasts
• Cost analysis & automation: perform historical/ad-hoc analysis, maintain PBI dashboards, improve tasks via SQL/Power Query
