Job summary

PTT Consulting is seeking a Senior Cloud FinOps Analyst to manage and optimize cloud and SaaS spend across Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake, and more. You will collaborate with Finance, Cloud Engineering, Platform Operations, Product, Security, and Business teams to improve cost transparency and drive value from cloud investments.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud cost management platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake).
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and cost allocation.
• Experience with reporting and data visualization tools, especially Power BI.
• Working knowledge of SQL and Power Query.
• Interest in predictive analytics and AI-assisted forecasting.
• Ability to analyze cloud spending and identify cost optimization opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze cloud usage and spend across accounts, subscriptions, services, and platforms.
• Identify and track cost optimization opportunities, including idle or overprovisioned resources and RI/savings plans.
• Partner with Technology teams to right-size workloads and implement best practices.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, KPIs, and data visualizations for stakeholders.
• Prepare cloud budgets and forecasts at team, project, and product levels.
• Monitor spend against budgets and forecasts; explain variances and support financial planning.
• Manage cost allocation, chargeback/showback processes, and month-end entries.
• Perform analyses and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Improve reporting and operational efficiency through automation and data-driven solutions.
• Support predictive analytics and AI-driven cloud spend forecasting.
