Job summary

Pretius is seeking a FinOps Analyst to join a global-scale gaming and lotteries platform project. You will analyze cloud spend, optimize usage, and partner with Tech teams on rightsizing and cost management.

You will build Power BI dashboards, manage budgets, and support month-end processes while exploring AI-driven forecasting. The role emphasizes collaboration across Finance and Technology, strong analytical skills, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Experience in FinOps, cloud financial management or related roles.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP and data tooling.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis and financial modelling.
• Hands-on with Power BI, SQL and Power Query.
• Understanding of cloud cost optimization and resource utilization.
• Strong analytical and cross-functional communication skills.
• Interest in AI applications for financial analysis and forecasting.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot / Copilot Studio.
• Good command of English.

Responsibilities

AtPretius, we are looking forFinOps Analyst to a project for global-scale platform in the field of gaming and lotteries.

Project / Role

• Analyze cloud usage and spend, identify optimization opportunities, and track savings initiatives.
• Partner with technology teams on rightsizing, resource optimization, and cloud cost management.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and financial planning for cloud investments.
• Support cost allocation, chargeback/showback, invoice reconciliation, and month-end processes.
• Develop Power BI dashboards and reports providing clear financial and cost insights.
• Perform regular and ad-hoc analysis, including historical comparisons and trend analysis.
• Automate reporting and analytical processes using SQL and Power Query.
• Contribute to FinOps governance and develop AI-driven approaches to cloud cost analysis and forecasting.
• Explore and use AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio to improve financial analysis and forecasting.

Requirements

• Experience in FinOps, cloud financial management, financial analysis, or a related role.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake, or similar cloud platforms.
• Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and financial modelling.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, SQL, and Power Query.
• Understanding of cloud cost optimization, including rightsizing, savings plans, reserved instances, and resource utilization.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to work across Finance and Technology teams.
• Interest in AI and its practical application in financial analysis and forecasting.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot / Copilot Studio.
• Good command of English.
