Job summary

Seargin is seeking a Cloud FinOps Analyst to manage, analyze, and optimize cloud and SaaS expenditures across Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake, and more. You will bridge Finance, Cloud Engineering, Platform Operations, Product Teams, Security and Leadership to ensure cloud investments deliver maximum business value with financial accountability.

You will build AI-driven cost models, forecast spend, prepare budgets, and create dashboards in Power BI, while identifying savings opportunities and guiding

Qualifications

• Must have a high interest in AI skills and AI-assisted forecasting.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake.
• Experience in implementing predictive analytics for cloud spend forecasting and budgeting.
• Ability to develop AI-driven models to analyze cloud spending patterns and identify optimization opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze cloud usage and spend across accounts, subscriptions, and services.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities (idle resources, overprovisioned services).
• Recommend and track savings plans, reserved instances, and commitments.
• Partner with technology to right-size workloads and optimize spending.
• Create reports and dashboards to present findings to product teams, finance and technology management.
• Create cloud budgets at team/project/product levels and forecast monthly/quarterly spend.
• Track actuals vs forecast and explain variances; support long-range planning.
• Process invoices with chargeback/showback models to promote accountability.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and data visualizations via Power BI; integrate SQL queries.
