Job summary

Sigma Software is seeking a Senior DevOps/FinOps Engineer to optimize large-scale, cost-efficient cloud infrastructure. You will join a highly autonomous team focused on scalability, reliability, and cost optimization in a high-load cybersecurity platform.

The role combines DevOps practices with FinOps, requiring hands-on experience with GCP, Kubernetes, and Terraform. You will partner with Product and Engineering to identify gaps, drive improvements, and deliver measurable impact across

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on DevOps in high-traffic production environments.
Strong FinOps experience with cost optimization and reporting.
Deep understanding of cloud cost drivers and optimization strategies.
Experience presenting technical proposals to engineering leadership.
Hands-on with Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes.
IaC experience, preferably Terraform.
Knowledge of observability and monitoring solutions.
Upper-Intermediate level of English.

Responsibilities

Understand complex, high-traffic infrastructure systems and services.
Analyze distributed systems to identify inefficiencies and optimization opportunities.
Build and maintain infrastructure cost visibility, including dashboards.
Identify and implement short- and long-term optimization initiatives.
Collaborate with Engineering and Product to drive technical improvements.
Own optimization initiatives end-to-end from proposal to impact validation.
Improve infrastructure scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
Contribute to IaC and automation practices.
