Job summary

Metsä Group in Gdańsk is seeking an Accounts Receivable Junior Accountant for a two-year temporary position. You will process bank statements, allocate payments, and handle AR/AP inquiries, while ensuring accuracy and timely communication with business units.

Ideal candidates have communicative English (B2) and basic accounting knowledge; SAP familiarity is a plus. Hybrid work model offered after onboarding; attractive benefits and a supportive team culture.

• SAP knowledge is advantageous for the role.

Responsibilities

• Process bank statements and incoming payments from local and collect banks.
• Post bank statements to GL and to customer accounts for non-product payments.
• Identify payment discrepancies and errors in In-House Cash payments.
• Handle internal AR/AP queries and provide timely information.
• Process automatic and manual payments as part of daily tasks.
