Metsä Group in Gdańsk is seeking an Accounts Payable Junior Accountant for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role focuses on processing FI/MM invoices, handling internal inquiries, and supporting month-end close in a multinational environment.

The ideal candidate has English at least at B2 level, basic accounting knowledge, and SAP familiarity. Hybrid work model available after onboarding; benefits include health and life insurance, and more.

Qualifications

• Communicative English at least B2 level.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and processes.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Process AP invoices in a timely manner according to SLA and quality standards.
• Respond to internal queries within agreed timelines.
• Review and act on AP reports.
• Support month-end closing tasks.
• Assist in vendor data maintenance and payment runs.

What you will do

• Process FI and MM invoices in a timely manner according to SLA and with the desired quality level
• Respond to internal queries on agreed timeline
• Review and take action on various AP reports
• Support in month-end closing tasks

We will offer you:

• Fixed-term employment contract for 12 months
• Attractive location of the office: 4 minutes to SKM, trams and buses
• Work from Monday to Friday with flexible hours - we start between 7.00 and 9.00
