Job summary

Shiftmove GmbH is seeking an Accounts Payables Specialist for France to own AP processes across French and German entities. You will ensure VAT accuracy (TVA) and GAAP compliance while coordinating with cross-functional teams in Paris, Aix-en-Provence, Berlin, and Wroclaw.

The role requires French GAAP familiarity, AP experience, and English fluency, with a hybrid work setup and opportunities to optimize processes as the company scales across Europe.

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounts Payable, ideally international or multi-entity
• Basic knowledge of French Plan Comptable Général (GAAP) is a plus
• Experience with ERP systems, Netsuite a plus

Responsibilities

• End-to-End AP ownership for French and German entities, incl. expenses and corporate cards
• Process supplier invoices with VAT (TVA) accuracy and Plan Comptable Général compliance
• Prepare supplier payments, maintain vendor records, and reconcile discrepancies
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing on the AP side
• Contribute to scalable AP workflows and process improvements
