Job summary

Relief International in Pakistan seeks a Wellbeing Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) Assistant to support safe, welcoming, confidential services at the RI wellbeing center and during approved community activities.

The role provides practical support, Psychological First Aid after training, and helps connect participants to appropriate services while maintaining professional boundaries; prior PFA training and safeguarding familiarity are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant social or health field.
• At least two years of experience in community, psychosocial, health or protection programmes.
• Ability to complete approved PFA and safeguarding training before providing support.
• Clear communication in local languages and basic English reading/reporting.

Responsibilities

• Welcome participants, explain services, and support appointments and reception while ensuring privacy.
• Provide PFA and basic practical support after training, and assist with wellbeing activities.
• Support outreach and home-based visits with proper consent and safety arrangements.
• Maintain and secure attendance and service records; protect participant confidentiality.
• Follow escalation pathways for safety concerns and ensure professional boundaries.
