Job summary

Relief International in Pakistan seeks a Wellbeing Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) Assistant to support safe, welcoming services at the RI Wellbeing center and during approved community or home-based activities.

Under the Wellbeing Centre MHPSS Officer, you will provide practical support, PFA after training, and confidential service navigation, while ensuring qualified practitioners handle diagnosis and treatment decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Public Health or a related field.
• At least two years of relevant community or psychosocial experience with vulnerable groups.
• Ability to complete PFA and safeguarding training before providing support.
• Fluency in Pashto and Urdu; basic English reading and reporting ability.
• Willingness to travel within the district.

Responsibilities

• Welcome participants with respect, explain services and assist with appointments.
• Provide PFA and practical support after training under supervision.
• Assist with group, caregiver and community wellbeing activities.
• Support outreach and home-based visits with proper consent and safety.
• Do not diagnose or provide independent clinical treatment.
• Help participants understand referrals and follow up appropriately.
• Maintain accurate attendance and safeguarding records.
