Job summary

Relief International is seeking a Wellbeing Centre MHPSS Officer to lead daily mental health and psychosocial support services at the RISE wellbeing center in Pakistan. The role covers assessment, counselling, care planning and coordinated referrals with mobile teams and specialists.

The incumbent will supervise a Wellbeing MHPSS Assistant, maintain records, and ensure safety, confidentiality and equitable access for all participants in alignment with RI standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Clinical or Counselling Psychology, or a psychology degree with recognized postgraduate clinical training and supervised practice.
• Four years of relevant psychological or MHPSS service experience.
• Competence in psychological assessment, counselling, structured interventions and safe referral.
• Experience coordinating service schedules and guiding assistants.
• Fluency in Pashto, Baluchi, Urdu and English.
• Experience in wellbeing centers and humanitarian programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day MHPSS service delivery at the RISE wellbeing center, including assessment and counselling within professional scope.
• Supervise Wellbeing MHPSS Assistant and coordinate with mobile teams, hotline and specialists.
• Manage referrals with psychiatrists and ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain confidential records and support safeguarding and ethical conduct.
• Ensure equitable access and adapt services for women, girls and vulnerable groups.
• Participate in clinical supervision and quality improvement activities.
