Job summary

Relief International in Pakistan seeks a Wellbeing Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) Assistant to support safe, welcoming and confidential services at the RI RISE wellbeing centers and during approved community activities.

You will assist with practical PFA, activity preparation and service navigation, while upholding boundaries and referring complex cases to qualified practitioners. Strong communication and record-keeping are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Public Health or a relevant social or health discipline.
• Clear communication in Pashto, Baluchi, Urdu and a language commonly used in the assigned district; basic English reading and reporting ability.
• Accurate record keeping, basic computer skills, sound confidentiality practices and willingness to undertake approved district travel.
• Experience supporting wellbeing centers, community groups, adolescents, caregivers or persons with disabilities.
• Prior PFA training, familiarity with referral procedures and experience using approved digital attendance or service-tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming participants and explaining available services with confidential privacy.
• Provide practical psychosocial support after trained and supervised steps; assist with group and home-based activities.
• Support outreach and home-based visits with consent and safety arrangements.
• Maintain records with approved tools; ensure confidentiality and data protection.
