Job summary

Navigator HR Consulting Solutions is seeking an Upwork/Technical Bidding Specialist to analyze technical briefs and craft tailored proposals for software development projects. You will be the first contact for technical buyers and help establish our agency's authority before engaging the engineering team.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of hands-on bidding experience on Upwork, strong English writing skills, and the ability to translate requirements into precise milestones and questions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year of hands-onTechnical bidding for software development agencies or IT services.
• Ability to read, understand, and break down technical briefs including AI and custom web apps.
• Verifiable Upwork bidding experience: bidding, qualifying, and closing software development projects.
• Ability to translate client requirements into acceptance criteria, technical discovery questions, and milestones.
• Strong written English with the ability to write bespoke, non-generic proposals.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate incoming Upwork project briefs daily.
• Assess technical feasibility, scope, and client fit.
• Draft high-converting proposals tailored to client requirements, tech stack, and pain points.
• Handle initial client responses.
• Ask relevant technical discovery questions.
• Clarify project requirements and scope before involving engineering team.
• Identify and present technical case studies and live demos to build confidence.
• Maintain consistent proposal activity.
• Record lead statuses.
• Track proposal responses, conversions, and win metrics.
