Job summary

OLX Pakistan is seeking an IT Administrator to support and maintain our Windows server estate, network infrastructure, and Remedy systems. You will monitor WAN/LAN health, troubleshoot Wi-Fi networks, and ensure robust security and backups.

Responsibilities

• Analyze functional problems and determine feasible techniques/requirements for expeditious solutions.
• Configure servers, manage backups, and keep full system readiness.
• Use network management tools to monitor WAN/LAN health statistics.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot Wi‑Fi networks and connected devices.
• Provide Windows systems administration, virtualization, and troubleshooting support.
• Manage Remedy Trouble-Ticket system diagnosis, operation, and maintenance.
• Update, maintain, and validate the known error database.
• Administer Remedy Action Request System solutions.
• Develop, publish, and maintain statistical, management, and custom reports.
• Support information assurance through content protection and access management.
• Install new software and hardware; set up user accounts and permissions.
• Oversee system security, antivirus protection, and network fault fixes.
• Perform network maintenance and daily IT monitoring.
• Provide technical staff training on new systems.
• Plan future IT improvements and propose solutions to business problems.
• Ensure IT practices meet industry standards and supervise help desk staff.
