Job summary

HBL People is seeking a banking professional in Pakistan to drive business generation and client management within Corporate/Commercial Banking. You will identify relationships with key Chinese companies, satisfy internal departments, and cross-sell products to maximize portfolio health.

The role emphasizes audit/compliance, risk assessment, and delivering high-quality client service across multiple product lines. Prior experience in corporate banking is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in Corporate or Commercial Banking

Responsibilities

• Business Management: Identify & develop relationships with key Chinese companies and generate business including trade, deposit, remittances, guarantees and FX income.
• Satisfy Internal Customers: Meet with internal departments to streamline issues and processes.
• Cross Sell: Increase share of wallet by pitching products from Corporate/Retail, Investment & Transaction Banking shops.
• Attend Customers: Satisfy customer queries and requirements in a timely manner.
• Improving Customer Understanding: Educate customers of Banking policies/products.
• Customization: Envisage & improvise banking products per customer requirements.
• Housekeeping: Maintain related administrative functions for audits and governance.
• Audit & Compliance: Conduct due diligence on transactions and processes to ensure compliance.
• Portfolio Health: Monitor accounts to detect early warning signals and improve portfolio health.
• Stay Receptive: Track market conditions and changing needs.
• Quality of Service: Conduct frequent business calls to review service levels and identify improvements.
• Consistent service: Lead relationships with product partners and monitor performance.
• Complaint Resolution: Resolve issues/queries independently to ensure daily service quality.
