HBL People seeks an Area Operations Manager for Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Abbottabad to oversee branch operations, compliance, and customer service excellence. The role emphasizes risk management and audit readiness aligned with bank policies.

You will lead branch operations managers, drive service quality, cost control and growth initiatives while ensuring AML/CFT adherence across the region.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of experience as branch operations manager.

Responsibilities

• Control & Compliance: ensure SOPs, directives and policies are followed to achieve risk-free operations and good audit ratings.
• Customer Services: establish structured reviews to maintain a disciplined work environment, deploy skilled staff, and deepen relationships through cross-selling.
• AML/CFT: supervise compliance with money laundering and terrorist financing regulations and KYC guidelines daily.
• Cost Management & Business Growth: manage variable costs and support growth through deposits retention and cross-sell leads.
• People and Relationship Management: lead managers to set objectives, review performance, and provide ongoing feedback.
