Job summary

Jobtailor in Lahore, Pakistan is seeking a qualified HR Generalist to manage daily HR functions, payroll coordination, benefits, and HRIS administration using Ceridian Dayforce and BambooHR.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's in HR, 3+ years of generalist experience, and knowledge of employment law. On-site work only; CPHR asset. You will partner with leadership to implement policies, support talent development, and ensure OH&S compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• CPHR designation or CPHR Candidate designation is considered an asset.
• Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience in HR roles, preferably in a Generalist capacity.
• Expertise in payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS system management.
• Experience with workplace investigations and performance management is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
• Experience with BambooHR is required.
• Work is performed at the work site; remote or hybrid work is not available.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily HR functions including terminations, policy implementation, employee relations, and records maintenance.
• Assist with implementing changes supporting the organization’s strategic goals.
• Ensure regulatory and compliance requirements related to privacy and employment legislation are met.
• Collaborate with finance on accurate and timely bi-weekly payroll processing.
• Administer employee benefits and address payroll, timesheet, and benefits inquiries.
• Use Ceridian Dayforce HRIS to update employee information and streamline HR processes.
• Develop and update HR policies and procedures; communicate policies and provide training.
• Promote and enforce HR best practices and report personal-information-protection breaches.
• Monitor Health and Safety practices and OH&S site compliance.
• Assist with HR budgets.
• Support recruitment through sourcing, screening, and recommending strategies based on market conditions.
• Advise leadership on employee matters, misconduct, attendance, and performance issues.
• Address employee concerns using best-practice solutions.
• Educate managers and individual contributors on HR practices.
• Perform other related duties as required.
