Job summary

CMA CGM Group is seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to join its sales team in a fast-paced shipping and logistics environment. You will work closely with the sales and operations teams to identify customer needs, provide tailored solutions, and drive customer satisfaction.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, your main goal will be to optimize the loading capacity and available space on board of the vessels you manage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience in shipping, logistics, or transportation.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong customer relationships.
• Strong knowledge of shipping, logistics, transport services, and market regulations.

Responsibilities

• Participate in establishing the Commercial actions plan.
• Plan and conduct phone calls and commercial visits as per segmentation.
• Promote CMA CGM Group Services and Non-Maritime products (e-commerce, VAS, intermodal & CEVA).
• Identify commercial market opportunities, develop market shares and improve outcomes according to strategy.
• Update commercial data and customer feedback in CRM (opportunities, leads, contacts).
• Reach targets in SVPC (Sales visits Phone Calls) and analytics-driven qualitative targets.
• Relay pricing requests from customers to Sales Support and other requests to Customer Care.
• Specialize teams by localization, commodity, or trade specificity where appropriate.
