Job summary

Contour Software in Pakistan is seeking a motivated Senior SQA Analyst to join our resource-center team in Karachi or Lahore. You will perform hands-on manual and automated testing to ensure high quality and timely releases as part of the onshore R&D team.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of QA experience, strong automation skills with Playwright/Selenium, API testing, and CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps or Jenkins.

The Division:

ExtendAg, a division of Volaris Computers (an operating group of Constellation Software Inc.), provider of mission-critical SaaS solutions for the agri-food industry, specifically designed to manage the complex supply chain between growers and food processors. The company offers a purpose-built, ERP-agnostic platform that tracks raw fruit and vegetable crops from the field to the processing plant, handling everything from contract management and chemical compliance to automated grading and grower payments. Now a part of Cultura Technologies (a division of Volaris Group and Constellation Software Inc.), ExtendAg supports some of the world's largest food brands such as Campbell's, Kraft Heinz, and Dole, by processing over one million loads annually and providing real-time visibility that enhances food safety, traceability, and operational efficiency.

The Position:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior SQA Analyst to join our team. The hired individual hands-on experience and expertise in manual and automation testing, to help ensure high quality and timely delivery of releases. The selected individual will work in the Contour Software Karachi or Lahore office, working as part of the resource-center team, as an extension of the onshore R&D team.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field, or a comparable combination of education and practical experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on in software QA, with expertise in both manual and automated testing.
• Proven experience leading or significantly contributing to automation framework and long-term maintainability.
• Good hands-on experience in the following:
• UI automation using Playwright or Selenium
• REST API automation and contract validation
• OOP (C# or Java) or JavaScript/TypeScript based automation development
• Good hands-on in planning, executing, and delivering comprehensive end-to-end product testing.
• Experience with necessary testing tools such as ticket/defect tracking tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence).
• Identify and accelerate defects to the development team for correction, and retest once defects have been corrected. Track defects and causal analysis to closure.
• Solid experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins and optimizing execution performance.
• Familiar with SQL and understanding of relational databases.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working in an Agile environment with a collaborative team mindset.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to extract relevant information from documentation and clearly identify necessary actions.
• Knowledge of Scrum, Scrum Master certification a plus.
• Strong multi-tasking skills, with a proactive approach to handling requests and ensuring follow-up until resolution.
