Contour Software is seeking a Web Developer to redesign customer websites and build secure, responsive experiences for vinSUITE. You will work from Contour’s Karachi/Lahore/Islamabad centers as an extension of R&D, delivering modern web interfaces and API integrations for eCommerce and customer engagement.

The role emphasizes accessibility, security, performance, and collaboration with internal stakeholders to craft high-quality, scalable web solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain customer-facing websites and web apps using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, and related technologies.
• Support redesign of customer websites by translating business requirements into maintainable web solutions.
• Build and integrate web functionality with APIs and web services to support eCommerce workflows.
• Apply accessibility best practices and use ADA tools to resolve issues.
• Implement secure coding practices for eCommerce applications.
• Optimize structure and setup for SEO and SEO best practices.
• Work with relational databases and OOP concepts for scalable web development.
• Use network diagnostics and analytics to troubleshoot performance issues.

The Division

vinSUITE provides an all-in-one direct-to-consumer software platform that brings eCommerce, customer relationship management, and related tools together in one integrated solution.

The Position

We are looking for a Web Developer to join the vinSUITE team and support an initiative focused on redesigning customer’s website. The selected candidate will work on modern, responsive, secure, and accessible web experiences that support eCommerce, customer engagement, and direct-to-consumer operations.

The selected individual will work out of the Contour Software Karachi/Lahore/Islamabad resource center office, as an extension of the division-based R&D department.

Role And Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain customer-facing websites and web applications using modern HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, and related web technologies.


• Support the redesign of customer websites by translating business requirements, design concepts, and customer experience goals into clean, responsive, and maintainable web solutions.


• Build and integrate web functionality with APIs and web services, including REST and SOAP-based services, to support eCommerce workflows and platform integrations.


• Apply web accessibility best practices and use ADA scan tools to identify, validate, and resolve accessibility issues across customer websites.


• Implement secure coding practices and apply security principles relevant to eCommerce applications, including session management, data protection, and secure integration patterns.


• Optimize website structure, content implementation, and technical setup to support Search Engine Optimization and Answer Engine Optimization best practices.


• Work with relational database systems and object-oriented programming concepts to support scalable and reliable web application development.


• Use network diagnostics and analytics tools to troubleshoot performance, connectivity, and user experience issues while continuously improving website quality and reliability.

Required Skills

• Deep expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, ADA scan tool and API's.


• Deep functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc.) is needed to be successful in this position.


• Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications.


• Proven working experience in web programming


• Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS


• Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: PHP, ASP.NET, JavaScript or Ruby on Rails


• A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices


• Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development


• Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools


• Advanced knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process


• Basic knowledge of AEO process.


• English language proficiency, with strong written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with internal stakeholders and division-based teams.
