Job summary

Contour Software is seeking an Intermediate Full Stack Developer to build, modernize, and enhance enterprise software in an AI-first development environment. You will develop both front-end and back-end components and collaborate with cross-functional teams across North America to deliver scalable solutions.

The role involves heavy collaboration with North American colleagues, strong communication, and contributing to AI-enabled software delivery within Contour’s Karachi/Lahore/Islamabad centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a full stack developer.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming.
• Strong expertise in Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies.
• Expertise in C# and .NET Core.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools or workflows for coding, debugging, testing, documentation, or software analysis.
• Understanding of AI-first development practices, prompt-driven engineering workflows, and responsible use of AI in software delivery.
• Knowledge of integrating applications with legacy systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an Agile, AI-augmented development environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with local and North American teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust front-end and back-end components using .NET and Angular for enterprise software applications.
• Apply AI-first AIDLC practices across the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, coding, unit testing, documentation, code review, debugging, and refactoring.
• Participate in the design and architecture of scalable, maintainable, secure, and AI-augmented applications.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, DevOps, product stakeholders, and AI-enabled delivery teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment.
• Write clean, efficient, secure, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices, coding standards, and responsible AI usage guidelines.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex development and operational issues, using both traditional engineering practices and AI-assisted techniques to provide efficient solutions.

The Position

We are looking for an Intermediate Full Stack Developer to contribute to building, modernizing, and enhancing enterprise software solutions in an AI-first development environment. The selected individual will be expected to effectively use AI-assisted development practices across analysis, design, coding, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement activities. This role involves developing both front-end and back-end functionality and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions. This position involves heavy interaction with North American team members, so strong communication skills will be essential. The chosen individual will work out of the Contour Software Karachi/Lahore/Islamabad resource center office, as an extension of the division-based R&D department.
