Job summary

Contour Software Lahore is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Analyst to join the R&D team extending from Europe. The role centers on ensuring quality across development phases through rigorous testing and clear defect reporting.

You will design and execute functional and non-functional tests, maintain regression suites, investigate issues, and provide status updates to stakeholders. ISTQB certified and strong communication are preferred, with a comprehensive benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical disciplines preferred.
• 2-3 years professional QA testing experience.
• ISTQB Foundation Certificate or equivalent QA certification.
• Experience with SQL, XML/JSON, REST API.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Contribute to risk analysis and classification as part of the development process.
• Support estimation and sizing activities.
• Design and execute functional and non-functional tests.
• Update and maintain regression test repository.
• Investigate and raise bugs.

The Division OneFile is a market-leading provider of learning and development software to support the delivery of apprenticeships and qualifications training through its ePortfolio and learning management (LMS) platform.

The Position We are looking to hire a SQA Analyst having experience and expertise in evaluating every phase of the development process to ensure that the design and software adhere to company standards. Software delays are costly for a company, so releases need to meet target dates and stay within budget. The hired individual will help meet deadlines by breaking up the development process into attainable testing goals and relaying any issues back to the development and product teams or leaders.

The selected candidate will be working out of the Contour Software Lahore office, as an extension of the R&D team located in Europe.

Key Activities
