Job summary

FORTEK Pvt. Ltd. in Islamabad is seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Consultant / Solutions Engineer / Solution Architect to own the technical content of the sale, qualify requirements, design solutions, size and cost the BOQ, and defend the design before the customer’s evaluation committee.

This role challenges requirements that cannot be delivered profitably and aims for technically superior bids. The ideal candidate will have 10–15 years in pre-sales/solution architecture within ICT/data center

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, IT or a related discipline.
Demonstrable experience designing and costing enterprise infrastructure solutions.
Proven ability to write technical proposals and tender responses, and to produce an accurate BOQ under deadline pressure.
Strong presentation and written communication skills in English and Urdu; ability to explain a technical trade-off to a non-technical decision maker.
Working knowledge of at least one major OEM ecosystem and its partner and pricing structures.

Responsibilities

Opportunity qualification and discovery: join calls and run technical discovery workshops to establish real requirements.
Solution design and sizing: design end-to-end infrastructure solutions across compute, storage, networking, virtualization, data centre and AI platforms.
Bids, proposals and tenders: own the technical volume of proposals and ensure compliance with evaluation criteria.
Customer engagement and technical advocacy: present solutions to customer teams and run POCs with clearly defined success criteria.
Handover, governance and enablement: deliver unambiguous handovers to delivery and maintain reusable templates and knowledge bases.
