Job summary

CMA CGM is seeking a Port Agency Operations Manager to lead the Operations, Intermodal & Logistics functions in Pakistan. The role reports to the General Manager and ensures safe, efficient, cost-effective and customer-focused service across port and inland operations.

Key responsibilities include vessel and container operations, yard and gate performance, cargo flow, equipment utilization and stakeholder coordination. Leadership, compliance and continuous improvement are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in maritime, port, logistics or related field.
• “10+ years of industry experience, including 5+ years leading Port Operations, Logistics or Intermodal functions.”
• Experience with container terminal and vessel operations, inland transport, intermodal solutions, depots and equipment management.
• Experience with vendor/contractor management, KPI delivery, budgeting and cost optimization; background with liner shipping, terminal operator or logistics service provider.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Intermodal & Logistics team and align with Group priorities.
• Monitor KPIs with local teams and GBS to improve productivity, cargo priorities, asset utilization and costs.
• Ensure adherence to Core model, standard processes and corporate tools across Operations.
• Coordinate with lines, partners, Commercial, ILS, Vessel Operations and Cargo Operations to deliver efficient port calls.
• Maintain relationships with ports, terminals, partners, stevedores, authorities and other stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement, risk management and compliance across terminals, depots and transport networks.
