Job summary

Alibaba Group in Pakistan invites an experienced Logistics professional to oversee end-to-end linehaul operations across the country, ensuring timely, secure, and cost-efficient movement of goods between hubs and sorting centers. You will develop operational strategies to optimize routing, fleet utilization, and transit times, while monitoring KPIs such as on-time departure/arrival and cost per kilometer.

Candidates should have 3–5 years in linehaul or long-haul trucking, with proven vendor

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, SCM, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in logistics or transportation operations, specifically linehaul in Pakistan.
• Proven track record managing large-scale ground transport networks and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end line haul operations across Pakistan ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of goods.
• Develop strategies to optimize routing, fleet utilization, transit times, and service reliability.
• Monitor KPIs (OTD/OTA, cost per km, vehicle utilization) and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with local logistics partners, carriers, and internal teams to resolve disruptions.

Job description

• 1、Oversee and manage end-to-end line haul operations across Pakistan, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and secure movement of goods between hubs and sorting centers.
• 2、Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize routing, fleet utilization, transit times, and service reliability.
• 3、Monitor daily linehaul performance through KPIs (on-time departure/arrival, cost per kilometer, vehicle utilization, incident rate) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• 4、Coordinate closely with local logistics partners, carriers, and internal teams to resolve disruptions and ensure seamless handovers.

Position Requirement

• 1、Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2、3-5 years of experience in logistics or transportation operations, specifically in linehaul, freight, or long-haul trucking management in Pakistan.
• 3、Proven track record of managing large-scale ground transportation networks, including vendor management and route optimization.
• 4、Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in logistics tracking systems, and data-driven decision-making.
