Job summary

Ibex is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to lead technical implementations for enterprise customers and translate complex customer workflows into production-ready AI solutions.

You will build integrations using JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js and APIs, work directly with customers and internal teams, and drive testing, monitoring, and launch readiness in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

5+ years of software/forward-deployed engineering experience.
Strong hands-on JavaScript/Node.js skills.
Strong experience with REST APIs, webhooks, authentication, and integrations.
Experience taking complex requirements from discovery to production.
Practical understanding of AI/LLMs, prompting, RAG, agentic systems, and AI evaluations.
Excellent customer-facing communication and problem-solving skills.
High ownership and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Lead implementations from kickoff to production launch.
Build integrations using JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, APIs & webhooks.
Work directly with enterprise customers and technical teams.
Build, test, and improve AI agents, prompts, retrieval, and tool-based workflows.
Troubleshoot integrations, data flows, and production issues.
Drive testing, monitoring, launch readiness, and continuous improvement.
