Job summary

Nysonian is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to own our internal systems end-to-end—from production infrastructure to the internal CRM and automation tooling that powers daily workflows.

In this senior, high-autonomy role you will architect robust solutions, drive cross-team collaboration, and set standards for reliability and security while mentoring others and raising the team's technical bar.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building and maintaining backend systems (NestJS/Node.js) in production SaaS.
• Deep AWS experience (EC2, security groups, load balancers, IAM, S3).
• Expert-level Linux server administration.
• Strong networking: DNS, TLS/SSL, reverse proxies, firewalls, LB routing.
• Experience owning CRM systems or complex internal platforms.
• Incident response leadership in production environments.
• Mentoring engineers and setting technical standards.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and long-term health of our internal CRM platform.
• Lead debugging of complex cross-system data and logic across CRM and databases.
• Drive feature development and technical decisions for internal tooling from ops, support, and sales needs.
• Architect integration and data-sync flows with Shopify and other third-party APIs.
• Own production infrastructure strategy on AWS and Linux; manage nginx and TLS at scale.
• Lead incident response, post-mortems, and security-focused improvements.
• Mentor and raise the bar for the engineering team.
