Job summary

ibex is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - AI Solutions to design, build, integrate, test, and deploy AI-powered voice and digital agents for enterprise clients. The role blends hands-on AI agent development with software engineering and client-facing delivery.

You will translate business requirements into conversational journeys and production-ready AI solutions using enterprise AI platforms, collaborating with clients and internal teams across workflows, integrations, and testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS/IT related field.
• 3–5 years of software development, technical implementation, backend integration, or solution delivery.
• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript/JavaScript; Node.js is a plus.
• Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, Git, and SQL/databases.
• Practical experience with Generative AI, LLMs, conversational AI, prompt engineering, or RAG.
• Experience building or configuring AI agents, chatbots, voicebots, or low-code/no-code solutions is highly desirable.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical workflows and conversational experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI-powered voice and digital agents using enterprise AI platforms.
• Collaborate with clients to translate requirements into agent personas, prompts, and conversation journeys.
• Configure and customize AI agents using platform capabilities, components, and custom code.
• Develop and integrate solutions using TypeScript/JavaScript, REST APIs, webhooks, SDKs, and JSON interfaces.
• Work with enterprise systems and backend services, including authentication and data integrations.
• Apply prompt engineering, context design, RAG, tool calling to improve agent performance.
• Build and maintain integrations to support client use cases and agent workflows.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and optimization across agents and backends.
• Support client demos, UAT, deployment, and post-deployment issue resolution.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, QA, Solutions, and Client teams.

The role combines hands-on AI agent development with software engineering and client-facing solution delivery. The engineer will work closely with clients and internal teams to translate business requirements into conversational journeys, workflows, integrations, and production-ready AI solutions using enterprise AI platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI-powered voice and digital agents using enterprise AI platforms.
• Work directly with clients to understand requirements and translate them into agent personas, prompts, conversation journeys, workflows, and business rules.
• Configure and customize AI agents using platform capabilities, reusable components, and custom code where required.
• Develop and integrate solutions using TypeScript/JavaScript, REST APIs, webhooks, SDKs, and JSON-based interfaces.
• Work with enterprise systems and backend services, including authentication and data integrations.
• Apply prompt engineering, context design, RAG, tool/function calling, and AI agent concepts to improve agent performance.
• Build and maintain integrations required to support client use cases and agent workflows.
• Perform functional testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and optimization across agents, integrations, and backend systems.
• Support client demos, UAT, deployment, and post-deployment issue resolution.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, QA, Solutions, and Client teams throughout the solution delivery lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities to create reusable configurations, components, and integration patterns that improve delivery efficiency across clients.
• Document solution configurations, integrations, technical decisions, and operational requirements.
• Take ownership of assigned technical deliverables and drive them to completion with appropriate guidance from senior technical resources.

• Ability to work effectively across AI platform configuration, integrations, testing, and custom software development.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple client projects and changing requirements.
