Mashreq Bank in Karachi seeks an experienced Finance professional to ensure accuracy, compliance, and integrity of Sundry GLs and Internal Accounts for financial reporting. You will perform monthly variance analysis, manage escalation processes, review Sundry Accounts to minimize risk, and oversee core financial controls including IFRS 9 ECL preparation.

Responsibilities include month-end closing, balance monitoring, and liaison with UAE branches, subsidiaries, and auditors.

Qualifications

• CA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent qualification is required.
• Minimum 6–7 years in financial reporting, accounting or internal controls.
• Experience in banking/financial services preferred.

Responsabilités

• Review Sundry GLs and Internal Accounts for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and submit Sundry Account reports with variance explanations.
• Perform monthly variance analysis for Sundry GLs and Internal Accounts.
• Oversee MB Group Sundry Accounts in Oracle for UAE branches and subsidiaries.
• Monitor month-end closing activities, reverse balances, and anomalies.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors to resolve discrepancies.
