Job summary

Paycom in Karachi, Pakistan, seeks a Senior Financial Accountant to oversee financial reporting, accounting operations, reconciliations and analysis. The role supports month-end close, intercompany accounting, variance analysis and management reporting.

Job Details: Job Location: Corporate - Karachi (KHI) - Karachi, Sindh 75600, The Senior Financial Accountant oversees financial reporting, accounting operations, reconciliations and financial analysis. The role supports month-end close, Revenue, Expense, Intercompany accounting, variance analysis, Management reporting and continuous improvement of financial processes and controls.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports.
• Manage, review & post Revenue + Expense entries to the financial system.
• Execute Intercompany adjustment schedule and post entries to respective Entity in NetSuite.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, including monthly Financial package & segmented cost analysis.
• Conduct detailed variance analysis, comparing actual results to budgets and forecasts and communicate findings to management.
• Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

Education: A degree in Finance, Accounting or related field. A Bachelors/Master’s degree or relevant certification preferred.

Experience: 2-3 years of experience in finalization of accounts & financial analysis.

Credentials: Accountant/Financial Reporting

Knowledge and Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets and financial modeling. Good knowledge of financial principles and practices, attention to detail and effective communication skills.

KPI's & Success Metrics

• Financial Reporting: Timely and accurate completion of monthly/quarterly reporting and financial packages.
• Reconciliations: Timely resolution of intercompany and other accounting discrepancies with minimal errors/reclassifications.
• Variance Analysis: Actual vs Budget/Forecast analysis with clear identification of key drivers.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to strengthen controls, efficiency and reporting processes.
• Ad-hoc Analysis: Deliver accurate financial analysis within agreed timelines.
• Overall: Maintain strong accuracy, compliance, attention to detail and ownership of assigned responsibilities.
