Job summary

Mashreq Bank is seeking a Banking Operations Checker to monitor reconciliation controls and ensure regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.

You will handle Fircosoft/UAEFTS processes, oversee referrals/releases, and process transactions with standard turnaround times, adhering to bank policies and procedures.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, risk awareness, and the ability to collaborate with compliance and operations teams to maintain accuracy and integrity of payments.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of general banking, cheque payments, and AML regulations across countries.
• Strong working knowledge of SWIFT and Mashreq processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• 4-6 years’ experience in banking operations with checker role.
• Expertise in interpreting banking regulations and AML rules.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control reconciliation and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Manage Fircosoft/UAEFTS system operations and referrals/releases.
• Process transactions with agreed TAT and bank policies.
• Ensure completion of daily DCFC activity.
