Job summary

Smart Working Solutions is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to strengthen security, reliability, and scalability of an AI-powered patent search platform. You will embed security across the development lifecycle and enable fast, reliable software delivery on AWS, with ECS/EKS, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.

The role emphasizes secure-by-design practices, observability, and compliance while supporting global teams in a remote-first setup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps/DevSecOps or related field.
• 5+ years managing production AWS environments (ECS/EKS).
• 5+ years using Terraform for IaC.
• 5+ years operating Kubernetes in production.
• 5+ years Docker in production.
• 5+ years Ansible for automation.
• 5+ years Prometheus and Grafana monitoring.
• 5+ years CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Experience embedding security into engineering workflows.
• Experience with SaaS or technology product companies.

Responsibilities

• Own AWS infrastructure for a production AI platform.
• Design and maintain AWS-based infrastructure (ECS/EKS).
• Manage Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Operate Kubernetes-based container platforms and Docker environments.
• Automate provisioning and config management with Ansible.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable delivery.
• Implement monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana.
• Lead security/compliance validation (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
• Collaborate with engineers to improve platform reliability and scalability.
• Deliver secure-by-design practices across the SDLC.
