Job summary

HR Navigator is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to architect, build, test, deploy, and optimize scalable backend systems. The role emphasizes rapid evaluation of AI technologies, integration of LLMs, and design of intelligent APIs for global scale.

You will work on RAG systems, AI agents, and CI/CD pipelines while mentoring junior developers and shaping engineering best practices in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of backend software development.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Node.js, Java, or Go.
• Experience with FastAPI, Express.js, Spring Boot, or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience deploying on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience designing scalable APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable backend architectures from the ground up.
• Build secure RESTful APIs, GraphQL APIs, and microservices.
• Develop cloud-native backend platforms.
• Design scalable databases and caching strategies.
• Integrate multiple AI providers and LLM APIs.
• Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.
• Develop AI agents capable of reasoning, orchestration, and workflow automation.
• Design prompt engineering frameworks and AI pipelines.
• Implement vector databases and semantic search.
• Develop event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing.
• Build automated testing frameworks.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor, optimize, and secure production environments.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering best practices.
