Smart Working is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer - AWS (Backend / DevOps-leaning) to design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure. You will manage EC2 and core components, support CI/CD for infra changes, and uphold security/compliance controls across ISO27001 or similar standards.

The role is remote, long-term, with opportunities to work with global teams on scalable cloud delivery, emphasizing reliability and automation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of AWS experience.
• 3+ years of Terraform / Infrastructure as Code experience, with CI/CD pipeline experience.
• 2+ years of experience managing EC2 and core infrastructure.
• 1+ years of security compliance experience with ISO27001 or a similar standard.
• SOC2 or GDPR exposure, or strong general security best-practice experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Manage EC2 and core infrastructure components.
• Support CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure changes.
• Implement and maintain security and compliance controls, including ISO27001 or equivalent.
