Job summary

Tetra Pak in Lahore, Pakistan, is seeking a permanent Procurement Manager to lead supplier management for base/preferred suppliers. The role involves RFQ, negotiation, contract management, and performance evaluation, with a focus on KPIs and compliance. A minimum of 5 years' procurement experience in manufacturing is required.

You will drive sourcing, maintain records, and act as a business partner to internal stakeholders while ensuring ethical standards and SAP/ARIBA proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant buyer/procurement experience in manufacturing or corporate services.
• Strong negotiation skills and supplier relationship abilities.
• Solid understanding of supplier management principles and best practices.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Job Description

Responsible for supplier management for base/preferred suppliers. Request For Quotation (RFQ), negotiation, contract mgmt. Analysis of suppliers, competition, benchmark, spend etc. Responsible for supplier management in line with strategy, process and KPIs for assigned suppliers.

This is a permanent position based in Lahore, Pakistan.

What You Will Do

• Identify suppliers, drive sourcing and contacting based on business need in line with supplier management strategies
• Drives compliance to category strategy, supplier base plan, supplier management processes, contracts and best practices. Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the procurement process. Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and documentation.
• Participates in target setting, follow up and corrective action
• Ensures correct usage of relevant tools
• Develops and maintains strong stakeholder management relationships. Communicates results and acts as a proactive Business Partner
• Shares good practices and facilitate networking on site
• Supplier Performance Evaluation: Monitor supplier performance, including delivery performance, quality of goods, and adherence to contractual obligations. Address any performance issues and work with suppliers to implement corrective actions.

Profile Description

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration
• Proven experience (at least 5 years) as a buyer or procurement professional in a manufacturing or industrial environment and Corporate Services
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
• Solid understanding of supplier management principles and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in using SAP and ARIBA
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency./li>
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Fluency in English both verbal and written
