Job summary

EDOTCO Group is seeking a seasoned Sourcing & Procurement professional to manage RFx execution and supplier engagement for Pakistan and Sri Lanka. You will drive bid evaluations, contract negotiation support, and ensure alignment with cost, quality, and delivery objectives.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Legal, HR & Admin, and Global SCM Shared Services to deliver value. A Bachelor's degree with 5–7 years in procurement, preferably telecom, and strong analytical

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification; supply chain focus preferred.
  • 5–7 years of hands-on sourcing/procurement experience.
  • Telecommunications industry experience is an advantage.
  • Experience in sourcing for tower and passive network services is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of TCO concepts and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

  • Execute RFx processes (RFPs/RFQs) per SCM policies and best practices.
  • Coordinate bid evaluations and assess proposals against benchmarks.
  • Conduct sourcing activities based on demand, market and contracts.
  • Support contract negotiations to secure favorable terms.
  • Ensure sourcing decisions align with cost, risk and SCM strategy.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Legal, HR & Admin, and Global SCM.
  • Align sourcing with Demand Planning and Supplier Relationship Management.
  • Develop strong supplier relationships to optimize cost and service levels.
  • Support category management strategies in line with market trends.
  • Monitor market developments and provide relevant procurement insights.

Job description

Job Purpose

To manage and execute sourcing activities for Pakistan and Sri Lanka requirements in line with SCM policies and procedures, ensuring targeted business and commercial outcomes. Take ownership of RFx execution, bid evaluation, supplier engagement, and contract negotiation support while leveraging market intelligence, commercial understanding, and supply market dynamics to achieve optimal cost, quality, and delivery outcomes. Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers to support strategic sourcing and category management objectives.

Key Accountabilities
  • Execute RFx processes, including RFPs and RFQs, in accordance with established SCM policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Coordinate and drive the bid evaluation process by assessing supplier proposals, applying industry benchmarks, and considering commercial and strategic factors.
  • Conduct sourcing activities based on business requirements, demand characteristics, market conditions, and contractual requirements.
  • Support contract negotiation activities by applying effective negotiation practices to secure favorable commercial and contractual. terms.
  • Ensure sourcing decisions are aligned with business objectives, cost optimization, risk mitigation, and overall SCM strategy.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Technology, Operations, Finance, Legal, HR & Admin, and Global SCM Shared Services to ensure effective execution of sourcing activities.
  • Work closely with Demand Planning, Supplier Relationship Management, and other relevant functions to ensure alignment of sourcing activities with business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to optimize cost, quality, service levels, and delivery performance.
  • Support the execution of category management strategies in line with business objectives, market trends, and industry best practices.
  • Monitor supply market developments and provide relevant market intelligence to support sourcing and procurement decisions.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with applicable policies, procedures, contractual requirements, and risk management standards.
  • Maintain effective communication and collaboration with key stakeholders and decision-makers throughout the sourcing and procurement process.
Qualification, Skills & Experience
  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification; a degree in Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.
  • Possess 5–7 years of relevant hands-on sourcing and procurement experience.
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in sourcing for Tower and related services / Passive Network will be an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of sourcing, procurement, and RFx processes.
  • Good knowledge of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) principles and their practical application.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Strong negotiation and commercial skills with the ability to secure favourable terms.
  • Good Supplier Relationship Management and Stakeholder Management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good understanding of procurement compliance, risk management, and governance requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced and rapidly changing business environment.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with an analytical and agile mindset.
  • Good technology proficiency and ability to leverage relevant procurement and business systems.
