Job summary

Standard Chartered is seeking a seasoned Auditor to own end-to-end audit delivery, from risk assessment and planning through execution and reporting. You will provide independent, evidence-based insights to senior management and the Board, guiding remediation and ongoing monitoring.

The role emphasizes governance, risk management, controls, and technology risk across operations, with data analytics used to generate meaningful, forward-looking insights and clear audit conclusions.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal or external audit; banking operations or risk/controls experience preferred.
• Professional certification such as CISA or CIA is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Technology, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk-based audits across payments value chain per GIA method.
• Assess governance, risk management, controls and tech risks across operations and data flows.
• Use data analytics and AI responsibly to identify patterns and support audit insights.
• Obtain evidence via walkthroughs, control testing, data analysis and stakeholder interviews.
• Develop concise audit issues with clear cause, risk and outcomes.
• Communicate audit conclusions promptly and constructively.
• Monitor actions to ensure timely, sustainable remediation.
• Build relationships and contribute to a high-performing audit team.
