Job summary

Remote Raven is seeking a Technical Sourcer / Talent Researcher to act as the research engine behind executive searches. You will map talent ecosystems, chart team structures, and surface senior engineers and leaders across AI/ML, fintech, SaaS, security, and related sectors.

You will partner with recruiters and partners, delivering defensible market maps and actionable intelligence early in the search process. This is a data-driven role requiring rigorous sourcing and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Substantial hands-on experience in sourcing or talent research for engineering or technology roles.
• LinkedIn Recruiter mastery and consistent use as a daily tool.
• Experience sourcing for United States based technology companies, ideally venture-backed startups.
• Research depth with niche markets and defensible market maps.
• Startup fluency and ability to thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead deep-dive research to chart the full talent ecosystem around each search.
• Map team structures, reporting lines and headcount at target companies.
• Identify where strongest Engineering, Product, Design and Analytics talent clusters exist and why.
• Track talent movement and organizational shifts at high-talent-density companies.
• Deliver market maps with actionable insights for recruitment strategy and outreach.
