ALsyed Waseem Pvt Ltd is seeking a Senior Manager for Banking and Payments Partnerships to lead strategic alliances in Pakistan's fintech landscape. This remote, full-time position involves building and nurturing relationships with banks, payment institutions, and large merchants, and guiding a 10-person team.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in payments, corporate banking, or acquiring sectors, plus strong negotiation skills and English fluency.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of demonstrated success in payments, corporate banking, or acquiring sectors.
• Fluency in English; Urdu familiarity is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Lead the development and execution of the partnership strategy by identifying, engaging, and securing relationships with commercial banks, payment institutions, and financial organizations to expand the companys footprint in Pakistan.
• Conduct high-level meetings and negotiations with heads of Payments, Merchant Acquiring, Transaction Banking, and Corporate Banking departments, building trust and facilitating mutually beneficial agreements.
• Develop and maintain strong connections with mid-size and large merchants to understand their payment needs, support onboarding, and enhance satisfaction and retention.
• Coordinate with local payment platforms including Easypaisa and JazzCash to integrate and optimize payment channels, ensuring seamless and secure transactions across different methods such as wallets, IBFT, and Raast.
• Identify new business opportunities within the payments ecosystem and continuously assess market trends to recommend and implement growth initiatives and innovative solutions.
• Manage and mentor a team of 10 professionals, fostering a collaborative environment, promoting professional development, and driving high performance aligned with organizational goals.
• Prepare detailed partnership proposals, strategic plans, and performance reports to present to international leadership and internal stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
• Maintain expert knowledge of Pakistan's regulatory framework, banking infrastructure, and digital payment technologies to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.
• Represent the company in industry events, conferences, and forums to enhance brand presence and network with key stakeholders in banking and financial technology sectors.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align partnership objectives with business requirements and deliver superior customer experience.
