Job summary

OMA Pakistan is seeking Head of Business Development for Payment Solutions in Karachi. You will lead the strategy to grow revenue, expand market presence, and close strategic deals with banks, fintechs, PSPs and large merchants.

You will build a high‑impact team, shape partnerships, and drive cross‑functional collaboration with product, technology, operations and risk to deliver growth across the payments ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 14–18 years of experience in Business Development, Sales or Revenue leadership with a minimum of 5 years in Pakistan in a leadership role.
• Strong background in Payments / FinTech / Merchant Acquiring / POS / Financial Services.
• Proven track record of closing enterprise and strategic deals and driving revenue growth.
• Understanding of payment ecosystems and enterprise sales cycles.
• Experience managing senior client relationships and partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Drive business development strategy, revenue growth and market expansion.
• Identify and convert high-value opportunities across banks, FinTechs, PSPs, telcos and enterprise merchants.
• Lead strategic client acquisition, partnerships, negotiations and deal closures.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of enterprise opportunities.
• Drive merchant acquisition, upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with key clients, partners and stakeholders.
• Monitor pipeline, revenue, and growth targets; report on performance.
• Lead and mentor the business development team and align with product, technology and risk teams.
