Job summary

Finyard is a global fintech company seeking a Payments Operations Associate to handle client payment requests, verify deposits and withdrawals, and coordinate with providers. The role supports night shifts and involves processing transactions with accuracy and adherence to regulations.

You will work remotely with a flexible schedule, importing data into CRM and Google Sheets, and collaborating with engineers, data scientists, and financial experts to ensure smooth payment processing and timely

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of payment systems (deposits, withdrawals, transfers)
• Attention to detail and responsibility
• English reading level from Intermediate for system messages and correspondence

Responsibilities

• Process client payment requests (deposits, withdrawals, status) escalated by first line of support
• Check transaction status in admin panels and interact with payment providers using templates
• Initiate manual crediting or rejection of transactions according to regulations
• Request and verify Proof of Payment (POP) when necessary
• Record actions in internal systems and prepare shift reports describing processed requests and issues
• Monitor payment channels and log failures, escalate to senior colleagues as needed
