Job summary

Health & Virtuals is seeking a Virtual Medical Assistant to manage documentation workflows, maintain patient records in the EHR, and ensure providers are prepared for every appointment. This fully remote role supports US healthcare practices by keeping clinical and administrative workflows accurate and efficient.

You will handle documentation routing, task tracking, and cross-team communication while maintaining HIPAA standards and data confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using EHR or similar digital systems.
• Strong documentation handling and record management.
• Understanding of structured workflows and task tracking systems.
• Ability to manage multiple administrative tasks simultaneously.
• Awareness of HIPAA and data confidentiality standards.

Responsibilities

• Upload, organize, and maintain patient records including labs, referrals, intake forms, and supporting documents.
• Prepare patient charts ahead of scheduled visits to ensure provider readiness.
• Monitor task queues within the EHR and complete assigned documentation workflows.
• Route tasks appropriately to maintain continuity across teams.
