Job summary

Bank of Punjab seeks a Relationship Manager for its Non-Banking Financial Institution (NBFI) division in Lahore. The role requires a Master’s degree and at least 4 years of banking experience; CFA Level I preferred.

You will analyze credit proposals, ensure SBP compliance, maintain client relationships, onboard new NBFI clients, and coordinate with internal teams to support credit decisions and disburse facilities.

Qualifications

• Strong credit analysis, financial analysis and communication skills.
• Experience in banking risk assessment and client relationship management preferred.
• Familiarity with SBP regulations and AML/KYC standards helpful.

Responsibilities

• Analyze credit proposals, financial statements, repayment capacity, security adequacy, and industry position.
• Conduct detailed financial and credit analysis of prospective and existing clients.
• Ensure credit facilities comply with internal policies and SBP regulations.
• Maintain regular communication with existing clients and promote additional banking solutions.
• Identify and acquire new NBFI clients while retaining existing relationships.
• Prepare detailed credit notes, recommendations, and financial analysis.
• Assess external market and industry factors affecting the credit portfolio.
• Gather relevant information required for effective credit decisions.
• Support business units in making appropriate credit approval decisions.
• Process credit applications, renewals, repayments, risk assessments, NOCs, and related portfolio activities.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Branch Banking, CAD, Risk Management, Legal, and other relevant departments.
• Monitor client relationships, sponsorships, and directors to ensure compliance with AML/KYC/CPF requirements and SBP regulations.
• Support the onboarding, operations, maintenance, and disbursement of client facilities.
