Job summary

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) seeks a Protection Case Worker to deliver Protection Case Management under an IOM-funded project across five districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Case Worker will manage an assigned caseload through the full PCM cycle, ensuring timely, safe, client-centered support and quality referrals.

Qualifications

• PCM guidelines and SOPs knowledge.
• Ability to identify and register vulnerable individuals.
• Experience with referrals to protection and support services.
• Documentation and data protection compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide Protection Case Management to high-risk individuals at district level.
• Identify and register vulnerable individuals through community referrals and self-referrals.
• Facilitate the full PCM cycle: intake, consent, safety planning, needs assessment, referrals, follow-up, closure.
• Identify clients eligible for CfP and refer to IOM with informed consent.
• Establish quality referrals to MHPSS, legal aid, GBV, health, and social protection services.
• Orient CBPCs, COVs, and service providers on PCM standards and referral protocols.
• Maintain accurate case records per data protection policies.
• Report caseload status to supervisor and participate in reviews.
• Support community awareness activities on protection risks and available services.
• Document and share lessons learned with the supervisor.
